IAS Accreditation Committee Hearing
The purpose of the hearing is to establish or revise accreditation criteria pertaining to IAS accreditation programs and to inform the public on IAS principles and major policies. The open hearing process provides all interested parties with the opportunity to contribute ideas or voice their opinions on any of the Proposed Criteria. The hearing will begin at 8:30 a.m. (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

While IAS Accreditation Committee hearings (meetings) are open to all interested parties. For security reasons, IAS will require registration to participate.

- AC204 – Calibration Laboratories – The proposed changes are intended to add new normative and reference documents, add standard on international vocabulary, edit title name, delete Section 5.3 as and links to the transition policy as the transition period is over, and add a link to BIPM . - AC472 – Metal Building Systems Inspection – The proposed revision is due to comments received during the assessment process of several manufacturers concerning the number of hours required to certify Level I and Level II UT (Ultrasonic Testing) technicians.
