IAS provides accreditation for Standards Development Organizations (SDOs), against accreditation criteria (AC 803), based on national, regional and international relevant standardization development procedures’ documents and legislation. The SDOs accreditation process involves an assessment of the standardization process and procedures, as well as SDOs management system. Being an IAS accredited SDO provides a global objective demonstration that the SDOs are possessing the competent personnel, organization, experience, knowledge, procedures and commitment to develop normative documents in accordance to specified requirements, through a well-documented and evaluated management system.
